"
Art and fashion go hand in hand, and I feel that fashion is a way we can use art to embody and explore our feelings, inspirations and identities
"
Experiments in process and unexpected idiosyncrasies are an integral part of my creative practice - imperfections are part of what makes a piece unique, and mistakes a portal to new ideas and ways of working
"
I draw partly from life and partly from my imagination, to practice looking at the world around me and to capture the loveliness of the world, flowers, plants, people, animals, or landscapes, vividly hued and blooming with life
"
Both art and music transcend spoken language and can express feelings that can’t be described in words, in a direct and pure way. I think that's why they fit together so naturally.
"
Some of the greatest inspirations in my work are the references in pop culture, films and cartoons that I grew up with. They have grown in me a love of stories, and have flavoured my work with sentimentality and playfulness.
