Alice is a London-based illustrator who works primarily with black ink to create joyful characters, large scale murals and children's book illustrations. The imagery she produces is simple, playful and intriguing, full of quick spontaneous marks. Alice has illustrated and authored a number of children’s story books including ‘Scruff’ published by Cicada Books and ‘Curious’ published by Hato Press. Her clients include Apple, Bloomsbury, and NSPCC.

"
Black ink is my most used and favourite medium. It is fluid and unpredictable which gives drawings a real character.
"
I resisted using an iPad for a long time, thinking my drawings would lose their charm, but its actually been an exciting extension of my work and a great way to experiment with colour.
"
It is really rewarding to work on projects that become a part of people's daily landscapes.
"
Working on large scale pieces is a lot of fun, it’s not often you get to put so much physical energy into an artwork.
