Robinson
Hannah has a unique eye for narrative, bringing warmth and humour to her work with expressive line work and endearing characters. There is a distinct playfulness incorporating relatable details and eye catching compositions, that sits between the figurative and abstract.
With a strong grounding in editorial collaborating with clients including The New York Times and The Guardian, Hannah is expanding her practice, applying her signature artistic voice to a range of projects and scales, from branding and packaging to large scale installations.

"
I’m interested in visual humour; how can I communicate a point whilst entertaining or offering a fun interpretation for the viewers? That mentioned, I don’t like being too on the nose, so I’m always exploring how far I can take it.
"
A lot of my inspiration comes from the films and CDs my parents would play for us as kids. Jewish comedy is high on the list, as is Wallace and Gromit.
"
Ultimately I’m a drawer; I am most comfortable creating images through line work and try to keep that part of the process as analogue as possible. Can’t beat an HB pencil!
"
I love illustrating recipes. I spend a lot of my time cooking; I usually jot down my recipes with a drawing next to it.
"
It’s all about playfulness; if I’m genuinely having fun, I know I’m going in the right direction.
